The Philadelphia Eagles beat the Dallas Cowboys 26-17 in an intramural NFC East clash to remain the only NFL team undefeated this season.
Munich – The Philadelphia Eagles remain unbeaten in their sixth game and continue their winning streak after a 26-17 victory over the Dallas Cowboys in the divisional Sunday Night Game.
The second quarter was decisive for the victory against the NFC East rivals. Quarterback Jalen Hurts and Co. really turned it on there and scored 20 points. The Cowboys around playmaker Cooper Rush only managed three points on the scoreboard until the break.
Rush with three interceptions
Dallas then scored their first touchdown in the third quarter. But despite the comeback and another touchdown in the last quarter it was not enough in the end as the Eagles struck again in the fourth quarter.
For Philadelphia, it was once again the outstanding defence that forced Rush into three interceptions. The Cowboys’ offensive performance was correspondingly poor. Dallas also had to accept a turnover on downs in the second quarter. In addition, head coach Mike McCarthy’s Cowboys often got in their own way with unnecessary penalties.

The New York Giants also remain on top after their 24-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens and are in second place at 5-1. The Cowboys are still in the race after their second loss and are 4-2, ahead of the Washington Commanders (2-4).
