The Buffalo Bills celebrate an easy win against the Kansas City Chiefs in the Sunday Night Game. The team around quarterback superstar Patrick Mahomes, on the other hand, concedes their third defeat of the season.
Munich – Bitter evening for the Kansas City Chiefs. In the Sunday Night Game of the fifth NFL game day, the team of Head Coach Andy Reid conceded a clear 20:38 defeat against the Buffalo Bills at home in Arrowhead Stadium.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes in particular did not have his best day. Only 33 of 54 passes were picked off and the playmaker threw two interceptions. His miss in the third quarter was particularly painful.
The Chiefs trailed 13-24 at that point before Mahomes threw the ball into the hands of Bills safety Micah Hyde, who carried it 26 yards for a touchdown to extend his franchise’s lead to 31-13.
Josh Allen with strong performance
The Bills delivered a strong performance in the away game in Kansas City. Especially in the second period, the franchise was able to lay the foundation for their fourth win of the season. In the space of just over seven minutes, the team got on the scoreboard three times with two touchdowns and a field goal.
Signal caller Josh Allen had an excellent day. He threw three touchdown passes to teammates and also ran into the end zone himself in the first quarter. His counterpart Mahomes, meanwhile, had two touchdown passes.
With a record of 4-1, the Bills lead the AFC East, while the Chiefs are surprisingly in last place in the AFC West with two wins and three losses.
