Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still in crisis. They lost to the Baltimore Ravens in the Thursday Night Game in the NFL.
Baltimore – The misery has continued for Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Florida franchise lost 22-27 to the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday. This was the third straight loss for Tampa Bay.
Brady completed 26 of his 44 passes for 325 yards and a touchdown. His favourite target was Mike Evans, who recorded an impressive 123 receiving yards. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson finished with 238 passing yards and two touchdown passes.
Baltimore Ravens turn it up in second half
Tampa Bay started the game well. Leonard Fournette ran in the first touchdown of the game to give the Buccaneers a 10-3 first quarter lead. Tampa Bay’s lead lasted until the half-time break before Baltimore turned up the heat in the third quarter.
Jackson connected with two touchdown passes to Kenyan Drake and Isaiah Likely. The Ravens went into the final quarter with a 17-10 lead. Devin Duvernay got into the end zone to extend Baltimore’s lead to 24-13.
Last minute decision
At the end it got exciting once again. With 49 seconds left, Julio Jones caught a touchdown pass from Brady to cut the deficit to 22-27, but the ensuing onside kick failed, allowing the Ravens to run down the clock.
While Tampa Bay are at three wins and five losses, the Ravens have a 5-3 record.
