The Browns strike back after the bitter defeat last weekend. The Steelers, however, manage to pull off the spectacular highlight of the game
Munich/Cleveland – The Cleveland Browns digested last weekend’s last-minute loss to the New York Jets well and won 29:17 in the Thursday Night Game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
This was the second win of the season for the team from Ohio, for which quarterback Jacoby Brissett and running back Nick Chubb were largely responsible.
Brissett threw two touchdown passes and went without an interception, Chubb ran for 113 yards and a touchdown.
But the final decision in a strong last quarter for the Browns was made by cornerback Denzel Ward after a Steelers fumble in his own end zone.
Steelers provide highlight
The visitors from Pittsburgh had to admit defeat, but provided the spectacular highlight of the game.
Rookie receiver George Pickens caught a 36-yard pass from Mitch Trubisky by stretching his arm wide as he fell and catching the very long pass with one hand.
