NFL: Los Angeles Rams win divisional duel against struggling Seattle Seahawks

In a hard-fought divisional duel, the Los Angeles Rams prevail over the Seattle Seahawks in the Thursday Night Game. There are concerns after the game about superstar quarterback Russell Wilson.

Munich/Seattle – After the loss against the Arizona Cardinals, the Los Angeles Rams are back on track and could win the next duel within the NFC West against the Seattle Seahawks with 26:17 (3:7).

In the first half, little went right for the Rams before quarterback Matthew Stafford turned it on in the third quarter. The playmaker ended up with 365 passing yards and one touchdown thrown. He had one interception in the first half.

The man of the match for the Rams was wide receiver Robert Woods, who shone as Stafford’s life insurance with 12 receptions and 150 receiving yards. LA’s running game also worked much better in the second half, with Darrell Henderson and Sony Michel both scoring rushing touchdowns.

Seahawks fear for superstar

The Seattle Seahawks, on the other hand, are fearing for superstar quarterback Russell Wilson after the game. He led the Hawks to a narrow lead in the first half before injuring his finger early in the third quarter and not returning to the field.

He finished the game early with 152 passing yards and a touchdown and an interception. Back-up Geno Smith, who came into the game for Wilson, had a 95-yard drive in the final quarter to cut the deficit to 14-16. In addition to the touchdown, he also had an interception and 131 passing yards.

Thanks to the win, the Rams remain in second place in the NFC West with a record of 4-1, while the Seahawks slip to last place in the highly competitive division with two wins and three losses.
