The second NFL game in Germany is history. The Kansas City Chiefs emerge victorious – alongside the German football fans.

It was a real spectacle! The second NFL game in history in Germany, more precisely at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, is over.

In front of a sold-out crowd, the Kansas City Chiefs bounced back from their loss to the Denver Broncos to defeat the Miami Dolphins 21-14.

The official hosts, the Kansas City Chiefs, got off to a good start and scored a touchdown on their first drive with a pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes to wide receiver Rashee Rice. After that, things quietened down considerably on offense and the defenses took over the game on both sides.

The Miami Dolphins repeatedly made mistakes in their offense and had to accept several penalties. The Chiefs, on the other hand, struggled with the fact that their receivers were unable to break free

It took until deep into the second quarter before the next points were put on the scoreboard. Mahomes again managed a touchdown pass, this time to running back Jerick McKinnon. Things got spectacular again at the end of the first half!

Ex-Chiefs receiver Tyreek Hill made a fumble during what should have been a strong drive by the Dolphins. Chiefs safety Bryan Cook was able to carry the ball into the end zone for a pick six after a clever lateral and an impressive sprint. 0:21 from the Dolphins’ perspective.

Dolphins get going after the break

The second half was initially disappointing from the Dolphins’ point of view. Instead of coming out of the locker room with a statement, the franchise had to punt right away. However, the time had finally come at the end of the third quarter and the Dolphins were able to score for the first time after a touchdown pass from Tua Tagovailoa to Cedrick Wilson.

Head Coach Mike McDaniel’s team then showed signs of a comeback. After a fumble by Patrick Mahomes, running back Raheem Mostert scored a rushing touchdown in the ensuing drive and Miami was able to cut the deficit to 14:21. However, both teams then struggled again in offense.

Things got really exciting again at the end of the fourth quarter! The Dolphins stopped the Chiefs with two minutes to go – a touchdown would have tied the game.

But with a fourth attempt and ten yards to go, the Dolphins’ center failed to snap to quarterback Tagovailoa, whose fumble ended any hopes
