In a game dominated by defence, the New England Patriots come out on top against the New York Jets. The Philadelphia Eagles are back on the winning track after their win against the Indianapolis Colts

New York Jets at New England Patriots 3:10

The New England Patriots celebrated their 14th consecutive victory against the New York Jets. In the first half, which started ten minutes late due to power problems around the stadium, both teams showed a modest performance.

Especially offensively, the Patriots and the Jets were virtually nowhere to be found and consequently went into the break with a 3:3 score.

The fans also waited in vain for offensive highlights in the second half.

With six wins and four losses each, both the New England Patriots and the New York Jets still have playoff hopes.

Philadelphia Eagles at Indianapolis Colts 17:16

The Philadelphia Eagles are back on the winning track. Against the Indianapolis Colts it was once again Jalen Hurts who provided the narrow victory. The MVP candidate achieved 190 passing yards, as well as a passing and a rushing touchdown.

Colts QB Matt Ryan threw for 213 yards. Running back Jonathan Taylor, who rushed for a total of 84 yards, scored the Colts’ only touchdown.

The Philadelphia Eagles continue to be the team with the best record in the league with nine wins and only one loss. The Colts continue to rank second in the AFC South despite six losses with just four wins.

Carolina Panthers at Baltimore Ravens 3:13

It wasn’t until the final quarter that the Baltimore crowd could marvel at the first touchdown of the game, when Lamar Jackson ran himself into the end zone. The Ravens quarterback ran for 31 yards and threw for 209.

For the Panthers, Baker Mayfield delivered another disappointing performance (196 passing yards, two interceptions). While Carolina suffers their eighth loss of the season, the Ravens improve their record to seven wins and three losses to lead the AFC North.

Carolina is in last place in the NFC South with just three wins and eight losses.

Cleveland Browns at Buffalo Bills (in Detroit) 23:31

The Buffalo Bills celebrated a win against the Cleveland Browns in front of their “home” crowd after the game had to be moved from Buffalo to Detroit due to a snowstorm. Quarterback Josh Allen threw for 197 yards and a touchdown.

On the Browns’ side, Jacoby Brissett had three touchdown passes for a total of 324 yards. Wide receiver Amari Cooper was one of the best players on the field with 113 receiving yards and two touchdowns. It still wasn’t enough for the fourth win of the season.

The Bills close the gap on the Miami Dolphins with their seventh win (in three losses), while Cleveland finds itself in last place in the AFC North with three wins and seven losses.

Los Angeles Rams at New Orleans Saints 20:27

Andy Dalton had an outstanding performance in the win over the Los Angeles Rams. The veteran threw for three touchdowns and was instrumental in his Saints’ win over the Rams. Rookie wide receiver Chris Olave impressed with 102 receiving yards and a touchdown.

The Rams, on the other hand, are still in free fall and may have to do without Matthew Stafford again. The quarterback suffered a concussion, but had a good game with two touchdown passes for 159 yards.

While the Rams are in last place in the NFC West with three wins and seven losses, the Saints are in third place in the NFC South (four wins, seven losses).

Detroit Lions at New York Giants 31:18

Jamaal Williams led the Detroit Lions to their fourth win of the season. The running back managed 64 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Amon-Ra St. Brown caught seven passes for 76 yards.

For the Giants, quarterback Daniel Jones showed a weak performance and threw two interceptions. After ten games, the “G-Men” are now at seven wins and three losses and are in third place in the NFC East. The Lions move past the Green Bay Packers with their fourth win (in six losses) and are now second in the AFC North behind the Baltimore Ravens.

Washington Commanders at Houston Texans 23:10

The Washington Commanders picked up their fifth win in their last six games. Against a non-threatening Houston Texans, quarterback Taylor Heinicke totalled 191 passing yards. Wide receiver Curtis Samuel scored a rushing touchdown.

Texans quarterback Davis Mills scored a touchdown himself, but threw two interceptions that ultimately decided the game.

Both teams are still in last place in their division. While the Commanders are now at six wins and five losses, the Texans remain the worst team in the league with only one win, eight losses and one tie.
