Aaron Rodgers and his Green Bay Packers suffered another defeat in the Sunday Night Football Game. Against Josh Allen’s Buffalo Bills they lost 17-27 and had a real interception-festival.
Munich – The Buffalo Bills beat the Green Bay Packers 27-17 in the Sunday Night Football Game. It was the fourth loss in a row for the team of quarterback routinier.
The first score of the night came from Bills tight end Dawson Knox, who converted a 61-yard Buffalo drive into a touchdown in the first quarter. Star quarterback Josh Allen’s team then quickly went up 14-0 in the second quarter, with wide receiver Stefon Diggs catching a 26-yard touchdown pass from Allen.
Disqualification for Walker
The Packers continued their rushing game and scored a touchdown. This was scored by receiver Romeo Doubs after a pass from Rodgers.
After that, the Cheeseheads made life difficult for themselves. Rookie linebacker Quay Walker pushed a Bills coach after a tackle on the sideline – the consequence: Walker was sent off. In addition, another linebacker, De’Vondre Campbell, was injured and did not return to the field after the break.
Before the break, the Bills pulled ahead to 24-7 with a touchdown from receiver Isaiah McKenzie and a field goal from Tyler Bass.
Interception festival in Buffalo
In the second, Green Bay kicker Mason Crosby put the next points on the scoreboard for the Packers with a field goal, but Buffalo’s Bass also got another crack at it in the third quarter, restoring the previous margin.
Three interceptions in three consecutive drives followed. First, Green Bay cornerback Rasul Douglas picked off a pass from Allen, dashing the Packers’ comeback hopes. But then Bills linebacker Matt Milano dashed those hopes when he picked up a “tipped” ball from Rodgers out of the air.
Packers’ negative run continues
On the next drive, the Bills once again made it to the red zone, but Allen threw the next pick – this time to Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander. The Packers took advantage of the new possession and scored again after a 37-yard touchdown pass from Rodgers to Samori Toure, but there was no time for more.
The Bills continued their winning streak and are now 6-1 at the top of the AFC West. The Packers, on the other hand, have lost four games for the first time since 2016 and are in second place in the NFC North with a negative 3-5 record.
