Cowboys counter before the break

After the two-minute warning, McLaughlin kicked the second field goal for the Colts, but the Cowboys countered before the break. Receiver Michael Gallup converted Dak Prescott’s 13-yard pass into a touchdown.

The third quarter was comparatively quiet. Only Colts receiver Alec Pierce scored a touchdown after Matt Ryan’s pass. This brought Indianapolis back to 19:21 – because the attempt at a two-point conversion was unsuccessful. It was still an open game at that point.
