Amon Ra St. Brown’s Super Bowl dream is over, his Detroit Lions blow a big lead in the NFC Championship Game

Amon Ra St. Brown’s Detroit Lions have missed out on a place in the Super Bowl. The team from the state of Michigan lost the NFC Championship Game at the San Francisco 49ers 24:27 (24:7) despite leading by 17 points at the break.

Wide receiver St. Brown had 7 catches for 87 yards. The touchdowns came exclusively from the running game. Jameson Williams, David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs scored on runs of 42, 1 and 15 yards respectively.

In the second half, only San Francisco played. Brandon Aiyuk, Christian McCaffrey with his second touchdown run and Elijah Mitchell turned a 7:24 deficit into a 34:24 lead. The 31:34 tie came too late.

In the Super Bowl, the 49ers will face the Kansas City Chiefs, who defeated the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game.
