Philadelphia Eagles defeat Tennessee Titans, Deshaun Watson victorious on comeback

The Philadelphia Eagles continue to be the measure of all things in the NFL, defeating the Tennessee Titans. Deshaun Watson makes a winning comeback for his new team Cleveland Browns after serving his suspension, but was unconvincing in the process

Tennessee Titans at Philadelphia Eagles 10:35

The Philadelphia Eagles continued their winning run with a commanding victory over the Tennessee Titans. Quarterback Jalen Hurts delivered a top game with 380 passing yards, three touchdown passes and a rushing touchdown. Ryan Tannehill, the Titans’ pass rusher, managed only 141 passing yards and one touchdown.

The Eagles completed their first drive with a touchdown pass from Jalen Hurts to DeVonta Smith. The Titans also got into the end zone in the first quarter with Treylon Burks catching a touchdown pass from Ryan Tannehill. In the second quarter, however, Philadelphia had the game under control.

While the Titans only managed a field goal, Hurts scored two more touchdowns. Once he served A.J. Brown, then Hurts himself ran into the end zone. With an intermediate score of 21:10 they went into the break.

After half-time, the Eagles used their first drive for another touchdown pass from Hurts to Brown. Later Miles Sanders increased the score to 35:10 with a touchdown and thus ensured the final decision. The Eagles are the NFL’s best team with 11 wins and only one loss, while the Titans are at seven wins and five losses but still lead the AFC South.

Cleveland Browns at Houston Texans 27-14

Deshaun Watson played his first game for the Cleveland Browns after serving his suspension and came up against his former team in Houston, of all places.

The quarterback did not get off to a good start. His first two pass attempts were incomplete. His first completed pass ended up in the arms of Anthony Schwartz, who directly committed a fumble.

Shortly after that he also threw an interception. In total he completed 12 of his 22 passes for only 131 yards and was not very mobile with 21 rushing yards.

Texans quarterback Kyle Allen threw for 201 yards and a touchdown. However, he also fumbled the ball three times with two interceptions and a fumble. Houston, with a record of 1-10-1, now has no theoretical chance of making the playoffs. The Browns are at five wins and seven losses.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Atlanta Falcons 19:16

The Pittsburgh Steelers came out on top in a close game against the Atlanta Falcons. Quarterback Kenny Pickett threw for 197 yards and a touchdown pass caught by Connor Heyward.

Marcus Mariota, the Falcons’ quarterback, recorded 167 passing yards and one touchdown pass. His favourite receiving station was Drake London, who recorded 95 receiving yards. The game was decided with 39 seconds left when Mariota threw an interception that was caught by Minkah Fitzpatrick. The Falcons stand at 5-8 but still have a shot at the playoffs because of the weak NFC South. The Steelers are 5-7, bottom of the AFC North

Denver Broncos at Baltimore Ravens 9-10

The Baltimore Ravens had to cope with a serious setback. Quarterback Lamar Jackson was forced out of the game due to a knee injury after conceding a hard sack by opposing linebacker Jonathon Cooper. His backup Tyler Huntley finished with 178 passing yards and ran for the only touchdown of the game.

Criticised Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson tried to regain his confidence with a short passing game, completing 17 of his 22 passes, but only 189 yards and only 21 yards rushing. The Broncos are bottom of the AFC West with a record of three wins and nine losses. The Ravens, on the other hand, lead the AFC North with a record of 8-4.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Detroit Lions 14:40

German wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown turned in another stellar game in the service of the Detroit Lions. He caught eleven passes for 114 yards and two touchdowns. This made him the most effective pass receiver on the field. Quarterback Jared Goff also delivered an outstanding performance. The playmaker completed 31 of his 41 pass attempts for 340 yards and no turnovers.

The Jaguars had a scare when quarterback Trevor Lawrence twisted his knee on a sack and had to be taken out of the game. Surprisingly, however, he returned to the field after a brief examination. However, he failed to impress with just 179 passing yards. The Lions now have a better record than the Jaguars (4-8)

with five wins and seven losses.

Washington Commanders at New York Giants 20:20 n.O.

The division duel between New York and Washington did not produce a winner. Giants quarterback Daniel Jones threw for 200 yards and a touchdown. Running back Saquon Barkley ran for 63 yards and a touchdown. Taylor Heinicke, the Commanders’ passer, recorded 275 passing yards and two touchdowns.

The Giants are in 3rd place in the NFC East with a record of 7-4-1. Washington is behind them at 7-5-1.

New York Jets at Minnesota Vikings 22:27

The Minnesota Vikings got the better of the New York Jets because they set the stage with 17 points in the second quarter. Quarterback Kirk Cousins threw for173 yards and a touchdown. Running back Dalvin Cook was also a key player with 86 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Jets playmaker Mike White threw for an impressive 369 yards, but failed to complete a touchdown pass and threw two interceptions. New York is 3rd in the AFC East with a record of 7-5, while Minnesota leads the NFC North with ten wins and two losses.
