NFL in Brazil: Dallas Cowboys’ opponent officially confirmed

The Dallas Cowboys will play on matchday 3 of the NFL in Brazil at the venerable Maracana Stadium. Now the NFL announces the opponent of “America’s Team”.

The Dallas Cowboys’ opponent for the NFL’s Brazil game has been announced. The Baltimore Ravens will face “America’s Team” at the venerable Maracana in Rio de Janeiro.

“We are honored that the NFL has chosen us to be a part of the NFL’s first game in Rio de Janeiro,” said Ravens owner Steve Biscotti.

And Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is also very excited about the matchup. “Playing against the Ravens in the Maracana in front of such an enthusiastic crowd will be a very special game for us.”

NFL: Record year for international games

In 2024, the Green Bay Packers played against the Philadelphia Eagles and in 2025, the Kansas City Chiefs played against the Los Angeles Chargers in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

2026 will see a record number of international games with a total of nine games in seven countries. This includes the game between the Detroit Lions and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown in Munich.

The other games will take place in London, Madrid, Melbourne, Mexico City and Paris, among others.
