Los Angeles Rams outclass overmatched Denver Broncos

In the duel of two disappointing teams, the Los Angeles Rams manage a clear victory. Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson throws three interceptions and receives sharp criticism from expert Volker Schenk.

The Los Angeles Rams handed the Denver Broncos their highest defeat of the season with a 14:51 loss.

The outstanding man was running back Cam Akers, who ran for 118 yards and three touchdowns. Quarterback Baker Mayfield threw for 230 yards and two touchdowns. Both touchdown passes were caught by Tyler Higbee.

The Rams have now won two of their last three games of the season. Before that, however, a misery of six straight losses occurred. The reigning Super Bowl champions stand at an interim record of five wins and ten losses. There was no chance of making the playoffs anyway.

The Broncos’ season is even worse, with a record of four wins and eleven losses. After winning against the Arizona Cardinals a week ago to end a five-game losing streak, they were completely overwhelmed in Los Angeles.

By halftime, the game was all but decided at 31-6. Denver did not score their first and only touchdown until the final quarter. Quarterback Russell Wilson had another disappointing game with three interceptions, but otherwise threw for 214 yards and a touchdown.

Expert Volker Schenk says, “That’s not the Russell Wilson we saw in Seattle. He looks completely broken in.” On the flip side, Mayfield had high praise for his team, saying, “Everything worked. Everybody did a great job”

The Rams face the Los Angeles Chargers and Seattle Seahawks in their remaining two games of the season. The Broncos travel to the Kansas City Chiefs next Sunday before closing the season with a home game against the Chargers.
