Jalen Hurts leads Philadelphia Eagles to win vs. Miami Dolphins

A week after a painful loss to the Jets, the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Miami Dolphins in the NFL’s Sunday Night Game.

The Philadelphia Eagles are back on the winning track. Last season’s Super Bowl participant beat the Miami Dolphins 31-17 in the Sunday Night Game of Game 7, making amends for a 14-20 loss in Week 6 to the New York Jets.

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts lent himself to a pic six in the third quarter, which Jerome Baker carried into the hosts’ end zone for an intervening 17:17.

But before the end of that quarter, Hurts made up for his mistake with a touchdown pass to A.J. Brown to restore the Eagles’ lead.

The 25-year-old finished with two touchdown passes and a rushing touchdown. His counterpart, Tua Tagovailoa, managed just one touchdwon pass with one interception.

The Eagles, wearing their green throwback shirts, continue to lead the NFC East after the win and currently join Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs as the only teams with a record of six wins and one loss.

The Dolphins, meanwhile, suffered their second loss but continue to lead the AFC East.
