Defensive end Joey Bosa has no good words for the referees after the 28:14 victory of his Los Angeles Chargers. The reason is his personal penalty after an uncalled holding.
Munich – The Los Angeles Chargers ended the Las Vegas Raiders’ winning streak in the Monday Night Game.
But beyond that, defensive end Joey Bosa’s post-game interview also made headlines.
Bosa was visibly unhappy with the refereeing decisions in the fourth quarter – and did not mince his words.
Bosa: “This is so bad, unbelievable!”
The Chargers’ elite defender received a personal penalty in the game’s decisive moments for complaining about a holding call that the referees didn’t call.
Chargers OLB Joey Bosa on the 15-yard penalty he got tonight, “The refs are blind. I’m sorry, but you’re blind. Like, open your eyes and do your job. Its so bad.”

“Fifteen yards is a lot. Of course it’s on me. I can’t lose my composure,” he admitted. “But I mean, the Schris are blind, simple as that. Sorry, but you guys are blind. Open your eyes and do your job. This is so bad, just unbelievable!”
However, after his round-about way, Bosa promised that he would rein himself in next time. Regardless of whether the refs whistle, he said he will take a step back and focus on the next play.
In the end, the penalty didn’t have any major consequences for the Chargers either. Just two plays later, Raiders quarterback Derek Carr threw an interception and the game was over.
