The Kansas City Chiefs are back in the Super Bowl after beating the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game.

The Kansas City Chiefs are in the Super Bowl for the fourth time in five years. The team led by superstar Patrick Mahomes beat the Baltimore Ravens 17:10 in the AFC Championship Game.

The Chiefs took an early lead in Baltimore and never relinquished it for the rest of the game.

Kansas City’s defense confirmed its strong form and was able to neutralize the Ravens offense around Lamar Jackson for the most part, while Mahomes & Co. did what was necessary to clinch the victory.

Initially, an offensive exchange of blows was on the cards, as the first three drives of the game each ended with a touchdown.

However, the offense then faltered somewhat, while the two defensive units became more and more confident. Especially the Chiefs’

Kansas City allowed just 10 points – and that against an offense that had scored an average of 28.4 points per game in the regular season. The Chiefs defense was also incredibly opportunistic, forcing two turnovers just outside the end zone.

The Chiefs offense didn’t score a point in the second half, but was able to move the ball with consistency in the first half to build the necessary cushion.

Travis Kelce delivered another strong playoff performance: 11 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown. The tight end is now the player with the most receptions in NFL playoff history.

The Kansas City Chiefs will have the opportunity to defend their title in Las Vegas on February 11. There they will face the winner of the game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Detroit Lions.
