Arizona Cardinals can’t sell Marvin Harrison Jr. jerseys

Arizona Cardinals fans can’t buy jerseys of first-round pick Marvin Harrison Jr. yet. Not only does he not have a number yet – the jerseys are not even allowed to be offered at the official stores

Marvin Harrison Jr. is already a star. And that’s without having played a single snap in the NFL. Not only does his famous surname help him, almost all experts agree that he will instantly be one of the best wide receivers in the league.

Some Cardinals fans would have loved to have already bought a jersey of their future franchise player – but you won’t find one in the usual online stores. Only Ohio State jerseys are offered on the university’s website.

The reason for this is quite simple: the former Buckeye – unlike 99 percent of other players – has not yet decided to sign the mandatory agreement with the players’ union NFLPA.

The NFLPA centrally markets the rights to the players for the online stores or Madden NFL from EA Sports.

According to Pat McAfee, this agreement was “not attractive enough” for him and his family. Harrison already had the contract in his second year in college. As a reminder, Marvin Harrison Jr. is the son of the Colts legend of the same name.

However, it is unrealistic that Harrison will not become part of the NFLPA, as it represents the interests of the players centrally and marketing himself would probably be too costly. It is therefore more than unrealistic that the wideout will not appear in the upcoming Madden game.
