Munich – What a game it was for Dak Prescott against the New England Patriots.

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback racked up 445 passing yards in a 35-29 win over the Pats.

Never in 21 years as head coach in New England has Bill Belichick conceded more passing yards than last night. It was the fourth loss in the fourth home game this season for the six-time Super Bowl champ – the weakest total since 1993.

Prescott with MVP performance

Total Dallas managed 567 yards of space gain on offence in overtime win. Also a record against New England this millennium. The record previously belonged to the Philadelphia Eagles, who gained 538 yards in Super Bowl LII. Prescott threw the decisive play for the passing record with a 35-yard touchdown pass to CeeDee Lamb in overtime with just under four minutes left on the clock.

Prescott surpassed Peyton Manning’s record against the Belichick Pats from 2014, as the “Sheriff” threw for 438 yards in the emphatic 21-43 loss to New England. In total, it was only the eighth time against the Patriots in the Belichick era that a quarterback managed to gain more than 400 yards passing.
