Tom Brady should demand a say in play calling and personnel decisions

Free Agent Quarterback Tom Brady is supposed to demand a say in play calling and personnel decisions from interested parties as a condition for his signature.

Quarterback Tom Brady’s decision is eagerly awaited by the Free Agency, which is due to start shortly (so far on 18 March). Will he stay with the New England Patriots or will the six-time Super Bowl champion in the high football age go a new way?

According to “ESPN”, the 42-year-old is said to have made concrete demands on his future employer that no player in NFL history has ever demanded in this form.

According to the report, Brady is said to have mentioned a say in play calling as well as in personnel decisions as a condition for his signature.

Patriots unlikely to have a say
Brady is aware of the fact that he will probably only be able to play at the highest level for one or two years and therefore has no time to waste. The quarterback therefore sees an acute need for action, which is why he apparently wants to get directly involved in the franchise decisions in the future.

A fact that Brady missed last season when, for a variety of reasons, he was deprived of a number of all-star playing positions but unable to influence the actions of the Patriots.

Under New England head coach Bill Belichick, Brady would probably not be given any of his desired skills in the future either – apparently the main reason why Brady has not yet signed back to New England.

Will the Bucs make the race?
In the broadly diversified pool of interested parties, at least one franchise should be willing to grant Brady the right to have a say without having to think twice: the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

“I’ve spoken to Tampa Bay. They would like Tom Brady. They are willing to give Tom Brady the things he wants and needs,” reports “ESPN” reporter Dianna Russini.

The arguments that speak for Tampa: With Bruce Arians, the franchise has an experienced coach who wants to do everything he can for quick success.

In addition, with almost 80 million dollars, the Bucs have the fourth largest cap space in the off-season, according to “Over the Cap”, and could thus fulfill their object of desire with plenty of wishes. The receiving corps around star duo Mike Evans and Chris Godwin also speaks for itself.

What should also not be forgotten: The next Super Bowl will be held in Tampa. No player has ever managed to play or win a Super Bowl in his own stadium. So it’s perfect for record hunter Brady.
