NFL: Buffalo Bills lack three yards to win against Tennessee Titans

The Buffalo Bills take full risk on the last play of the game against the Tennessee Titans to win the game and avoid overtime. In the end, the hosts are jubilant.

Tennessee – The Tennessee Titans won a hotly contested game against the Buffalo Bills with 34:31.

Derrick Henry scored his third touchdown with just over three minutes left in the game to give the Titans a decisive lead. In total, the running back gained 156 yards.

The Bills then should have scored at least a field goal. They got to the opposing 3-yard line, but decided against a field goal attempt on fourth down and instead wanted to get ahead with a quarterback sneak. Josh Allen, however, was stopped in front of the end zone.

Allen totalled 353 passing yards, three touchdown passes and one interception. Ryan Tannehill, the Titans’ playmaker, threw for 216 yards, remained without a touchdown pass and threw an interception. On defense for the Titans, Harold Landry excelled with two sacks and a tackle for loss of space.

Both teams now stand at a 4-2 record.
