Due to the rule change allowing teams to wear different helmet and jersey designs during a season, there is speculation as to what colours and combinations could return.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have already announced that they are resurrecting a uniform from days gone by.

Patriots back in the Patriot look soon?

According to “ESPN”, the Patriots have not made any official announcement regarding a second helmet, yet there is still a possibility of bringing back the white helmet.

Back in December, the Patriots Hall of Fame announced that the red jerseys, last worn in 2012, would return next season. But that includes the white helmet to complete the Patriot look.

An official statement from the Patriots on this matter is still pending and is probably eagerly awaited by many fans.
