The Dallas Cowboys celebrate their next win to kick off the 13th NFL matchday. The game against the Seattle Seahawks turns into a shootout
Scoring start to the 13th matchday of the NFL season! The Dallas Cowboys beat the Seattle Seahawks 41-35 in the Thursday Night Game.
The game at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas developed into a real shootout. Both teams scored in all four quarters and the lead changed hands several times.
The fact that the home side came out on top in the end was due to America’s Teams’ strong final spurt. The visitors from Seattle were still leading 35:27 at the start of the final quarter, but then the Cowboys fired the turbo and scored two field goals as well as a touchdown and two-point conversion.
The hosts showed great diversity in terms of scoring, with four different players scoring touchdowns: CeeDee Lamb, Brandin Cooks, Tony Pollard and Jake Ferguson. In addition, kicker Brandon Aubrey provided strong service with four field goals, among other things.
Meanwhile, one player in particular had a brilliant evening for the Seahawks: DK Metcalf. The wide receiver scored three of his team’s five touchdowns, with Zach Charbonnet and quarterback Geno Smith responsible for the other two.
