Following the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl win, Chiefs receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster mocked Eagles cornerback James Bradberry for the penalty before the Chiefs’ game-winning field goal. A heated exchange ensued with the Eagles stars on Twitter.
Not only did the Philadelphia Eagles lose by a field goal in Super Bowl 57 to the Kansas City Chiefs, a short time later the franchise has to listen to the taunts of a bad winner.
Wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster posted a bitterly nasty Valentine’s Day message on Twitter with a photo of Eagles cornerback James Bradberry that read, “I’m holding you when it matters most.” A meme previously shared by the Instagram account “NFL Memes. “

Bradberry was responsible for Philadelphia’s momentous penalty for defensive holding in the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl against the very Smith-Schuster that set up the Chiefs’ game-winning field goal.
The player took responsibility for the thrown flag afterwards, admitting that it would have been the right call despite the controversial reaction to the decision from the officials.
After the unnecessary subsequent jibe from the Chiefs pass receiver, the expected shitstorm ensued.
And it didn’t stop there. Emotions were also just bursting out of Bradberry’s Eagles teammates.
Eagles star A.J. Brown takes JuJu Smith-Schuster to task
First, star receiver A.J. Brown spoke up. “Congratulations, you guys deserve it,” he began his tweet still diplomatic, only to really lash out:
“But that’s lame. You were on your way out of this league before Mahomes revived your career with a one-year contract, Tik-Tok boy. He did admit to keeping you, so don’t act like you were ever that great.”
Smith-Schuster’s response, however, was not to be long in coming. “Glad you finally got that off your chest after all these years. Good game, bro,” the Chiefs receiver taunted.

JuJu Smith-Schuster gets rebuke from NFL stars
Brown should have been just the beginning, however, as the next Eagles star responded immediately to the ongoing affronts.
Safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson then attacked Smith-Schuster with a series of harsh tweets. His first blow came in the form of a quote tweet. “School boys acting gangsta.”
Less than a minute later, the pass defender tweeted again, “JuJu ran away from me when I checked him on the play. “
Big , also I told you in the game to stop all that talkin because we were gonna come back and win that game. Now help me decide which finger I need to get sized for this ring https://t.co/Xv97nrRBQW

Gardner-Johnson pointed out that he had thrown more interceptions this season (six) than Smith-Schuster had even scored touchdowns in 2022 (three), adding wryly that perhaps he should retrain from safety to wide receiver.
Unsurprisingly, Smith-Schuster didn’t take that lying down and retaliated again. First, the 26-year-old posted a video of Gardner-Johnson being assaulted on the field by Bears receiver Javon Wims during the 2020 season, writing, “Absolutely. I ran to the sideline to call him out. “

JuJu Smith-Schuster engages in private duel with C.J. Gardner-Johnson
And the receiver wasn’t done yet, “I already told you in the game to stop all the talking because we’re going to come back and win the game. Now help me decide which finger I should pick to get the right ring size.”
Whether the fair has been read after the Mahomes face-off again, or whether the Eagles will engage in another war of words? Time will tell.
In any case, Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons also spoke out on the Twitter beef, meaningfully describing the pointless mutual denunciation, “Meanwhile, players’ social media skills are better than their on-field skills. “
