Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Tom Brady and the longing for family celebrations

Tom Brady has revealed that he is blowing the whistle on his “TB12” diet on Thanksgiving. He also confesses that he longs for the family celebrations he experienced as a child.

Munich – Tom Brady has “sinned.” Because the quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers blew the whistle on his strict diet on Thanksgiving.

He revealed this to US host Oprah Winfrey, who was a guest on his podcast “Let’s go” and asked him about his plans.

“This is the one meal where I say, ‘Fuck it, let’s do it,'” Brady said. “And we can all enjoy it.” Brady typically avoids things like caffeine, white flour, white sugar, dairy and vegetables like tomatoes, aubergine or peppers as part of his “TB12” diet because they could cause inflammation. He relies mainly on plant-based proteins.

Barely time for the big feasts

And you don’t begrudge Brady those “cheat hours” when you remember that he once revealed that he eats avocado ice cream.

The problem: Brady doesn’t have much time to sin. “There’s a lot to be thankful for on Thanksgiving, but you only have four hours to enjoy it,” he said.

Because, of course, the current NFL season is, as always, the focus of his life and, by extension, his everyday life.

“Practice usually ends around 1 or 2 p.m., you eat around 3:30 p.m., and then you get ready for the next day of practice,” Brady said.

Tom Brady: Looking forward to post-career days

A fact that does bother him after 21 years in the league.

Because it’s the same with Christmas, says Brady, who admits: “I look forward to the time when I’m not playing football anymore, so I can celebrate some of those holidays that I had as a kid and that were important because the family was together. “
