German coach Nadine Nurasyid has landed a job with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers through the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship.
As part of the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship, German coach Nadine Nurasyid has made the leap to the NFL.
The coach of ELF Team Stuttgart Surge impressed the selection committee and is now a permanent member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ coaching team.
“There are paths that only reveal themselves when you are ready to take them. Sometimes life whispers to you, ‘Keep going.’ Even if the path doesn’t have a name yet. Today it does: NFL. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship,” the 40-year-old wrote on Instagram, confirming her commitment to the Buccaneers.

As assistant coach of the defense, she will now be part of the staff for two months and will also be involved in the Buccaneers’ preseason games after Nurasyid earned a spot with the Tampa Bay franchise through the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship, which received approximately 1,500 applications.
The Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship aims to give groups that have been underrepresented in the NFL a chance at a job.
Since this usually applies almost exclusively to US Americans, it was a big deal for Nurasyid to be selected by the Buccaneers for the program.
