- NFL: Rashee Rice promises a show from the Kansas City Chiefs#UVXWJ#Wide receiver Rashee Rice, who has recovered from a serious injury, is optimistic that the Kansas City Chiefs will be as strong on offense as they have been in previous years. For many years, the Kansas City Chiefs stood for pure offensive power. However, this quality has declined recently. They finished the 2024 season in 15th place in terms of points scored and fell out of the top 10 in yards for the first time in the Patrick Mahomes era. Kansas City reached the Super Bowl for the third time in a row, but lost to the Philadelphia Eagles. Wide receiver Rashee Rice was unable to play. The 25-year-old pass receiver, who caught passes for 938 yards in his rookie season in 2023, suffered a knee injury in Week 4 and was out for the rest of the season. Marquise Brown was also injured for a long time. Both are now fit again and are set to lead the offense alongside young Xavier Worthy. Rice is therefore looking forward to the 2025 season with optimism: “We have a lot of guys, we’re deep. Our wide receiver group is going to be explosive this year. We’re just excited to put on a show. The only thing standing in our way is time – we’re just waiting patiently.“ Rice is glad to have put the injury phase behind him. ”It was a tough process,“ he says, but he has no doubt that he will be back on the field right away: ”When you really love the game, there’s nothing that can really take you away or discourage you from doing the job.”#UVXWK##UVXWJ#Last season, Rice recorded an impressive 288 yards and two touchdowns on 24 catches before his injury in Week 4.#UVXWK##UVXWN#Fourth-round pick Jalen Royals bolsters Chiefs offense#UVXWO##UVXWJ#The Chiefs made few changes to their wide receiver roster in the offseason. Marquise Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster were each signed for another year, while DeAndre Hopkins and Mecole Hardman left the team. Newcomer Jalen Royals, who was drafted in the fourth round, is the latest addition. Tight end Travis Kelce also remains a central figure in the Chiefs’ offense despite his age of 35. According to media reports, he is in particularly good physical condition. Rice is glad that speculation about Kelce’s possible retirement has not been confirmed. “I was really worried,” Rice said. “I’m not going to lie. Getting injured last year was a wake-up call for me. I really wanted him to come back.” #UVXWK#
