Date for game plan release fixed – quarterback deals bring planning certainty

NFL fans can slowly get out the calendar. Already in a few days, the best football league in the world wants to announce the game plan for the coming season

The NFL plans to announce the game schedule for the 2023 season, which begins in September, on May 11. This is reported by “ESPN.” According to the report, Commissioner Roger Goodell and Howard Katz, the main person responsible for the game plan, will meet again this Monday to discuss final details.

This will also be made possible by the clarification of the situations of Lamar Jackson and Aaron Rodgers. With Jackson’s extension with the Baltimore Ravens and Rodgers’ successful trade to the New York Jets, prime-time games can now be scheduled in a more targeted manner as well.

Season opener on September 7

Mike North, the NFL vice president in charge of TV broadcasts, will also again attend the final meetings.

The opening game of the new season will take place on Thursday, September 7 (local time). Traditionally, the Super Bowl champion – in this case the Kansas City Chiefs – gets to open the season with a home game.
