For the NFL showdown, Taylor Swift has to fly straight from Tokyo to Las Vegas. That’s 9000 kilometers or eleven hours by plane
For pop icon Taylor Swift, her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s entry into the Super Bowl means a lot of travel stress. The singer is due to give a concert in Tokyo around 24 hours before the grand finale of the National Football League (NFL) in Las Vegas on February 11 – around 9,000 kilometers or eleven hours away by plane.
But Swift probably doesn’t want to miss her sweetheart’s performance with the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers. The NFL already reported before the Chiefs entered the Super Bowl on Sunday against the favored Baltimore Ravens (17:10) that the 34-year-old wanted to be there for the final game. Swift will arrive “just in time to celebrate”, it was said.
Her presence would add to the excitement surrounding the Super Bowl. Swift’s relationship with Kelce has already brought American football millions of new fans. She was also there on Sunday and saw her personal hero score a touchdown. At the small party on the field afterwards, there were several kisses for Kelce in front of an audience of millions watching on TV.
He was a key factor in Kansas’ victory. The tight end (34) caught eleven passes for 116 yards. In doing so, he overtook the previous record holder Jerry Rice for the most passes caught in the postseason.
At the postgame celebration, Swift didn’t leave his side for a few minutes, even though Kelce was quoting the Beastie Boys and not his girlfriend when he shouted, “You’ve got to fight for your right to party!”
