Rap superstar Kendrick Lamar will be supported by several superstars at the Super Bowl LIX halftime show in New Orleans.
Rap superstar Kendrick Lamar rocked the halftime show of Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.
Lamar performed in the darkened Caesars Superdome and sang a medley of his hits such as “Squabble up”, “HUMBLE”, “Peekaboo”, “Luther” and “Not Like Us”.
Hollywood legend Samuel L. Jackson supported the rapper in the role of the announcer, the actor appeared in a Uncle Sam costume.
Kendrick Lamar was accompanied by dancers who also wore costumes in the American national colors of red, white and blue.
R&B singer SZA was a guest star on stage, singing the song “All the Stars” with Lamar.
Serena Williams, the former world number one tennis player, made a surprise guest appearance, dancing on the sidelines.
In the NFL final between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs, it was 24-0 at halftime.
