Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams will be available again early as the NFL reduces his suspension following a rule change .
The NFL has made several changes to its gambling guidelines. While some of the future regulations will be stricter, they are also showing more leniency towards players who are currently suspended.
Wide receiver Jameson Williams of the Detroit Lions will be ready to play for Detroit’s game against the Carolina Panthers in Week 5 as a result.
Williams was suspended by the NFL for a violation of the league’s gambling rules and was originally suspended for six games.
Williams had been eligible to return to the team in a limited capacity since last week. The NFL’s new decision will allow him to return to the team normally on Monday.
