Tom Brady: After career end – use at the Super Bowl not excluded

After his career in the NFL ends, quarterback superstar Tom Brady will make a new start as a TV pundit. Will the 45-year-old start his engagement with a US broadcaster at the upcoming Super Bowl?

With the announcement of his career end on 1 February, Tom Brady finally drew a line under the most successful career in NFL history.

It has long been clear how things will continue for the quarterback after his time as an active athlete. Last year, the 45-year-old and the US channel “Fox Sports” announced that Brady would work as a TV pundit in the future.

And extremely well paid! Brady is to receive 375 million US dollars for ten years – the playmaker did not even earn this much money in his 23 seasons as a professional football player, because as an NFL professional 333 million went into his account.

Tom Brady as a pundit at the Super Bowl?

But when does the seven-time Super Bowl winner’s work begin? Will he be behind the microphone at the upcoming Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles on 12 February in Glendale/Arizona?

After all, the opportunity would be favourable, as “Fox Sports” alternates with “NBC” to broadcast the biggest sporting event in the world – and this year it is their turn to broadcast it.

According to consistent US media reports, however, Brady will not take up his job yet. Fox Sports” is said to have known nothing about the end of TB12’s career anyway.

Tom Brady: Appearance on the Pregame Show?

So, at the NFL Finals, commentator Kevin Burkhardt and ex-Panthers tight end Greg Olsen, who Brady will then supplant as the No. 1 expert next year, will commentate on the game, as planned.

But: An appearance of the 45-year-old in the pregame show lasting several hours is not ruled out according to US media. The broadcaster did not want to comment on a corresponding enquiry.
