Baker Mayfield has faced a lot of criticism, especially in the wake of his split with the Cleveland Browns. His ex-coach Freddie Kitchens comes to the quarterback’s defence and explains why Mayfield can be one of the best playmakers

For Mayfield’s time with the Cleveland Browns also included the constant discussions as to whether he was a franchise quarterback or just a foamer on the field.

“The difference between good to great and elite sometimes is the passion with which you approach the game,” Kitchens said. “I would say that’s a quality he has, and it’s not a disadvantage. “
