Tennessee Titans: Derrick Henry back in practice after injury

Running back Derrick Henry of the Tennessee Titans has resumed practice after overcoming a foot injury and is set to return to game action.

Munich/Tennessee – Good news for the Tennessee Titans heading into the hot stretch of the season.

Radio and TV journalist Clay Travis reports that running back Derrick Henry resumed one-on-one workouts on the team’s campus this week. He reportedly trained under full load and had no problems whatsoever.

At the beginning of November, the 27-year-old had to undergo foot surgery. At that time, there was talk of a downtime of six to ten weeks.

Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network said on “Good Morning Football” on Monday that Henry could possibly play as early as Week 18 against the Houston Texans: “Derrick Henry, it sounds like, may even return in Week 18 to knock off some rust after the serious foot injury he had earlier in the season before they go into the playoffs”.
