NFL: Tennessee Titans win crisis summit against the Miami Dolphins

The Tennessee Titans have won their first game of the season. In an unspectacular game, they prevailed at the Miami Dolphins, who are struggling with injuries. However, there is a mystery surrounding Will Levis.

The Miami Dolphins’ game against the Tennessee Titans on Monday night US time did not necessarily promise to be an NFL treat.

The Titans lost all three of their season games. The Dolphins, on the other hand, won one, but are without their quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and their offense has faltered badly.

And that’s exactly how it turned out: in a game without any real highlights, the Titans ended up winning 31-12. Fans in Miami started leaving the stadium as early as the third quarter.

Quarterback Will Levis once again cut a poor figure. First, he threw an interception in the first quarter, then he was injured and replaced by Mason Rudolph. Although Levis appeared to be fit as he paced up and down the sidelines during the game, Rudolph finished the game. He completed just nine of his 17 passes for only 85 yards.

The best receivers were Tyler Boyd and DeAndre Hopkins with 31 yards each. The only touchdowns were scored by Tyjae Spears, who added 39 rushing yards, and Tony Pollard with 88 yards and a score.

Dolphins completely ineffective on offense

The Dolphins, on the other hand, didn’t accomplish anything on offense. Backup Tyler Huntley completed just 13 of 21 passes for a measly 92 passing yards. Wide receiver Tyreek Hill caught 23 of those for almost a third of the total. Jaylen Waddle was the top receiver with 36 yards.

He also caused a safety for the Titans in the final quarter with an intentional grounding penalty in his own end zone to round out the horror show for the Dolphins.

Starting running back De’Von Achane had a dismal day with just 15 yards on ten attempts. The best rusher was quarterback Tyler Huntley himself with 40 yards and a touchdown late in the game. The offense of head coach Mike McDaniel was regularly booed.

The Titans can look forward to their bye week next week, while the Miami Dolphins face the New England Patriots on the road.
