NFL showdown: Philadelphia Eagles win Super Bowl rematch against the Kansas City Chiefs

The Philadelphia Eagles have won their first meeting with the Kansas City Chiefs since losing the last Super Bowl

The Eagles’ streak continues! In the tenth game of the season, Philadelphia managed their ninth win. And that against the reigning Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts personally scored the decisive touchdown to make it 21:17 in the final quarter, and how could it be otherwise, with the Eagles’ parade play, the Tush Push!

Mahomes and the Chiefs then had enough time to take the game back. As so often this season, however, the quality of Mahomes’ wide receivers made itself felt.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling was unable to hold on to a long ball just before the end zone after the two-minute warning

Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes finished the game with 177 yards with one interception and two touchdowns.

Andy Reid’s streak snaps

The Eagles’ running game was particularly impressive with touchdowns by D’Andre Swift and two more by quarterback Jalen Hurts, who only gained 150 yards through the air.

It was Chiefs coach Andy Reid’s first loss to the Eagles as coach in Kansas City. Nevertheless, his team leads the AFC West with a record of 7-3.

The Eagles and coach Nick Sirianni improve to 9-1, putting them at the top of the NFC East and the entire division
