NFL – Kansas City Chiefs: Travis Kelce gives telling hint about his future

Eric Bieniemy is set to return to the Kansas City Chiefs as offensive coordinator. Travis Kelce is absolutely thrilled.

Is this a hint from Travis Kelce? Is the tight end suggesting that he will stay with the Kansas City Chiefs for another NFL season?

The “New Heights Podcast” also discussed Eric Bieniemy, who is set to return to the Chiefs as offensive coordinator. He previously held this position from 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, he worked as running backs coach for the Chiefs from 2013 to 2017.

Kelce is genuinely thrilled about this.

“I can’t wait to see him back in the building, man,” Kelce said. “He’s one of my absolute favorite coaches and one of my favorite people ever. I’ve had so many incredible, formative moments under him, as a player and as a person. I just love the guy. It’s going to be great to see him back in the building and see him wearing the Kansas City Chiefs logo again, baby.”

Kelce believes that after three years apart, it won’t take much time to get used to each other again. “I think this is a partnership that will pick up right where it left off,” Kelce said. The Chiefs had a disappointing season and missed the playoffs by a wide margin with a 6-11 record. Kelce, already 36 years old, left open the question of whether he would continue immediately after the last game of the season. It cannot be ruled out that Bieniemy’s as-yet-unofficial return will now prompt him to return for another season.
