New England Patriots: Tom Brady to be honored at first home game of season

Tom Brady will return to the New England Patriots. However, only for an honor at the first home game of the season.

The New England Patriots have announced that Tom Brady will be honored at the first home game of the upcoming season.

The team proclaimed the game the “Thank You Tom Game.” Owner Robert Kraft commented on the announcement on “NFL Network,” “The greatest player in the history of American football played here in Foxborough and I’m pleased to say I’ve invited him and he’ll be coming to our home opener so fans in New England can thank him for his service.”

Brady played for the franchise from 2000 to 2019, winning the Super Bowl six times in a Patriots jersey.

In 2007, 2010 and 2017, he was named the league’s most valuable player. He is widely regarded as the best player in NFL history.

Brady retired for good in March 2023

2019, he left the Patriots as a free agent and joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with whom he promptly won his seventh Super Bowl.

After the 2022 season, the “GOAT” initially announced his retirement before announcing his comeback just a short time later.

This year, he announced his presumed final departure from the NFL after a mixed season.
