New England Patriots: Kicker Rohrwasser wants controversial tattoo removed

After discussions about his questionable and controversial military tattoo, Kicker Justin Rohrwasser of the New England Patriots has now decided to take a radical step, according to “ESPN”.

After the big fuss about his military tattoo, which is a symbol for the “Three Percenters”, a militia founded in 2008 and belonging to the right-wing spectrum, which actively supports the right to own weapons and refuses to allow the US government to interfere in local affairs, Justin Rohrwasser of the New England Patriots has now decided to take a clear step, according to “ESPN”.

“When I learned on Saturday what this symbol really stands for, it was immediately clear to me that I would like to have the tattoo removed completely from my body,” said the 23-year-old kicker, whom the Patriots picked in 159th place in this year’s draft, in an interview with “WBZ-TV” in Boston.

“I want it off my body”
And further: “I just want it off my body. I’m ashamed of the fact that I’ve been wearing it on my skin the whole time, ignorantly.” Rohrwasser explained that he was in the belief that this tattoo “only” supported the military and he had to accept the accusation that he had to do more research.

“I formally apologize to my friends and family who have had to defend me again and again in the past days. I very much regret having put them all in this position. I will learn from this situation, because that is not me. And I hope that you all will find that out.”
