Kansas City Chiefs: Travis Kelce sees Al Bundy as role model

Travis Kelce scores four touchdowns in one game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Four touchdowns in one win? That was something. The best moment for Kelce to compare himself to series character “Al Bundy”.

Munich – In the divisional duel of the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 30:29. Player of the game was Travis Kelce, who scored four touchdowns.

The Chiefs tight end was christened “Touchdown Travis” by his colleagues, but Kelce liked another comparison better after the game.

Chiefs star Travis Kelce loves Al Bundy

“You can’t tell me I’m not Al Bundy!” – with this, Kelce alludes to the series “An Awfully Nice Family”.

There, the main character Al Bundy, played by Ed O’Neill, repeatedly claims that he once scored four touchdowns in one game in a high school game. Legend has it that Al Bundy managed to do this in Polk High School’s championship game against Andrew Johnson High School in 1966.

After the game, Kelce made his love for Al Bundy clear again on Twitter, calling him the role model of his childhood.

Al Bundy actor O’Neill even has a real football background. After his time at Youngstown State, he graduated from Pittsburgh Steelers training camp as an undrafted rookie but missed out on making the squad as a defensive lineman.
