Tennessee Titans’ Adrian Peterson: Manoeuvre review from ten-year-old son

Adrian Peterson had to shake off the rust in his debut for the Tennessee Titans. He had a few things to work off for his second outing Sunday against the New Orleans Saints – an important note from his ten-year-old son included.

Munich – The criticism came immediately. And it came unfiltered. Because, as is well known, children’s mouths speak the truth.

Adrian Peterson took his son’s comments to heart. He is ten years old, by the way.

“He asked, ‘Dad, why are you running so high?'” said Peterson. “That’s the one thing I always preach to him, and he was able to preach it to me. I said, ‘You know what? You’re right.'”

Replacement for Derrick Henry

Running back legend Peterson was signed by the Tennessee Titans (7-2) to replace superstar Derrick Henry after his injury. Peterson totaled 21 yards and a touchdown in his first outing in last week’s 28-16 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

“I’m mad at myself because I wasn’t aware of it during the game,” Peterson said. “But I hadn’t played in a game in 10 months. Mind you, I’ve been doing this for a long time. This is the kind of adjustment that will be easy for me.”

AP ran for a total of 2,097 yards for the Minnesota Vikings in 2012 and joins Henry as one of four running backs to break that 2,000-yard mark in a season. The 36-year-old recorded 604 yards and seven touchdowns for the Detroit Lions last season.

Since then, he was a free agent before the Titans brought him in. On Sunday, in his second game back from a long layoff, Peterson and the Titans will take on the New Orleans Saints, who stand at a 5-3 record.

He was too quick on some plays against the Rams and didn’t make the O-line work for him, he said. “Those are things I took from the game that I’m going to improve on.” He feels more comfortable after the practice days, “ten times better than last week,” Peterson said.
