Joe Burrow sure: Cincinnati Bengals will play “scary” in the future

The Cincinnati Bengals celebrate a commanding victory against the Detroit Lions in week six. Quarterback Joe Burrow is nonetheless unhappy, stating that his team could play “scary” in the future

Munich – The Cincinnati Bengals put 398 yards on the scoreboard in a 34-11 win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday – but the reactions after the game were not too positive.

Head coach Zac Taylor said he went into halftime with a “bad feeling” because his team was only leading 10-0 at that point. Quarterback Joe Burrow also lamented his franchise’s poor start when speaking to US reporters.

“If we eliminate some of the things that happened in the first half, we probably would have scored 50 points today,” the signal caller told the team website.

Burrow: Bengals will be “scary “

“But that’s the NFL. I’m never going to get upset about a 34-point game when you win by as much as we did. But we’ve got to correct some things. And when we do, it’s going to be scary,” the 24-year-old is sure.

Burrow stands at 1,540 passing yards and 14 touchdowns after six games this season – that’s compared to seven interceptions.

The Bengals are currently second in the AFC North behind the Baltimore Ravens with a 4-2 record.
