Baltimore Ravens: Mark Andrews speaks out for the first time after playoff elimination

After the Baltimore Ravens’ bitter playoff elimination, Mark Andrews became a tragic figure. Now the tight end has spoken out about the game for the first time.

Mark Andrews had a pitch-black day in the Baltimore Ravens’ playoff elimination in the Divisional Round of the NFL against the Buffalo Bills (25-27).

The tight end dropped the football on the decisive two-point conversion.

Many fans took out their frustration on the tight end, sometimes well below the belt.

At the same time, Bills fans raised money for the Andrews foundation. The 29-year-old has now made his first public comment on social media.

“It is impossible to adequately express what I am feeling. I am absolutely devastated by what happened on Sunday. I am devastated for my teammates, my coaches, and the Ravens fans. I put everything into playing at the highest level possible because I love my team and I love the game of football,” he writes.

At the same time, Andrews is fighting for the future: “Even when the moment seems darkest (…), there is still a lot of light in this world. I will now do my part to get back up.”
