Buffalo Bills face snow chaos against Miami Dolphins: Highmark Stadium is cleared of snow

Just hours before the start of the game between the Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins, one thing in particular is evident around Highmark Stadium in Buffalo: snow. Is the Bills in danger of chaos again?

Munich – This game should be extremely uncomfortable!

The game between the Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins is scheduled for Sunday night starting at 02:15 German time. But the current conditions around Highmark Stadium in a Buffalo suburb look anything but cosy.

Patrick Hammer, chief meteorologist at local station “WGRZ”, posted pictures around the Bills’ stadium on his Twitter account. On it you can see: Snow, snow and more snow. It had already snowed heavily in the region in the US state of New York during the night.

A few hours before the start of the game, it stopped and workers cleared the field of white, but new snow is expected to fall during the game.

Bills threaten next snow chaos

Even at Friday’s press conference, quarterback Josh Allen revealed that heaps of snow are expected to fall during the game as well.

Already about a month ago, a snowstorm had put a spanner in the Bills’ works. At that time, the game against the Cleveland Browns had to be moved to Detroit “in the interest of public safety and out of an abundance of caution”.

The region around Buffalo is always plagued by snowstorms due to the so-called “Lake Snow Effect”. This effect occurs when cold winds blow across the huge lakes in winter, which have warmed up in summer. The city is located on the east side of Lake Erie on the border with Canada.
