Art Rooney II, owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers, is not happy with the 2025 NFL schedule.
The NFL has released the complete schedule for the 2025 season.
Every year, some teams are satisfied with the schedule, while others are not thrilled with the games they have been assigned.

This year, one of those complaints comes from Pittsburgh Steelers owner Art Rooney II.
“We’re not thrilled about the night games at the end of the season,” the 72-year-old emphasized in an interview with the team’s website.
“It happens and it’s not a big deal, but we’d prefer not to have too many night games at the end of the season,” the franchise owner continued.
The Steelers will play two prime-time games in the second half of the season. First, they travel to Los Angeles in week ten for a Sunday night game against the Chargers. Five weeks later, in week 15, they host the Miami Dolphins for a Monday night game.
Last year, one of Rooney’s biggest complaints was that the Steelers didn’t play their first division game until Week 11. This year, the franchise already has two division games under its belt at that point.
“I like it when the games are a little more spread out than last year,” Rooney said. “Last year, I thought it was a little too much at the end of the season, so I like the distribution of division games a little better this year.”
The Steelers face a tough stretch in Week 13 when they play four games against the Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, and Detroit Lions, but Rooney doesn’t seem too concerned about that.
His only criticism is once again the trip to the West Coast during prime time. “I don’t have any major complaints about the schedule,” Rooney said. “The only minor complaint I have is that a night game on the West Coast is always something I’d rather avoid. But that’s the way it is, and we’ll deal with it. All in all, I like the schedule. And it’s pretty balanced.”
