Amon-Ra St. Brown celebrates a successful Pro Bowl Games debut with the NFC. The wide receiver contributes to the NFC’s success over the AFC with a contest win and a touchdown in the finale.
The NFC has won the inaugural edition of the Pro Bowl Games. Head Coach Eli Manning’s team won 35-33 against his brother Peyton’s AFC side.
Led by Kirk Cousins, the NFC turned around a three-point deficit after the skills competition and the first two flag football games.
Cousins threw three touchdown passes, one to Amon-Ra St Brown. The Detroit Lions wide receiver thus won the Pro Bowl overall after the Best Catch competition.
1) Flag Football Game 1 – AFC vs NFC
Led by Geno Smith, the NFC won the first flag football game at the Pro Bowl Games to tie the score at 9-9 overall.
The Seattle Seahawks quarterback threw five touchdown passes to George Kittle, CeeDee Lamb twice, T.J. Hockenson and Kyle Juszczyk in a 32-27 win.
On the AFC side, quarterback Tyler Huntley came into play. He fed Mark Andrews twice and Tyreek Hill and Ja’Marr Chase via intermediate Davante Adams.
2) Kick Tac Toe
Leaded by long snapper Morgan Cox, the AFC also won the Kick Tac Toe at the Pro Bowl Games Skills Challenge.
The AFC’s long snapper turned three of his snaps on the digital oversized Tic Tac Toe field into a series. In doing so, the Tennessee Titans pro extended the AFC’s lead to 12-3.
Baltimore’s star kicker Justin Tucker and punter A.J. Cole of the home Las Vegas Raiders had missed their two attempts.
In the NFC, only Minnesota long snapper Andrew DePaola was successful twice. Kicker Jason Myers and punter Tress Way also missed their targets.

3) Gridiron Gauntlet
The NFC won the steeplechase relay race at the Pro Bowl Games to again even the overall score.
The quintet of Penei Sewell (DET), Brian Burns (CAR), Saquon Barkley (NYG), Tristan Wirfs (TB) and Cameron Jordan (NO) edged out the AFC of Joel Bitonio (CLE), Myles Garrett (CLE), Nick Chubb (CLE), Cameron Heyward (PIT) and Dion Dawkins (BUF) in the four-stop Gridiron Gauntlet.
The relay race involved breaking through walls made of polystyrene, then going over walls and under tables before crossing a stretch of tyres above the ground on the obstacle course.
Finally, they had to push the sledge with the coach on it. Jordan and Wirfs got a head start from Sewell, Burns and Barkley and pushed Eli Manning across the finish line first.
4) Flag Football Game 2 – AFC vs NFC
With the win in the second Flag Football game, the AFC regained the overall lead. Head Coach Peyton Manning’s selection won 18-13 and now leads 15-12.
Trevor Lawrence with two touchdown passes to Davante Adams and Stefon Diggs, and a run into the end zone by Derrick Henry also made Green Bay’s Jaire Alexander interception return touchdown forgettable.
5) Move The Chains
The AFC has extended its lead to six points ahead of the final Skills Challenge contest of the Pro Bowl Games. Coach Peyton Manning’s squad won the Move the Chain competition, which involved pulling a wall weighted with weights a certain distance.
The squad of Quinnen Williams (NYJ), Trey Hendrickson (CIN), Laremy Tunsil (HOU), Terron Armstead (MIA), Jeffrey Simmons (TEN), Maxx Crosby (LV), Rodger Saffold (BUF), Ben Jones (TEN), Mitch Morse (BUF), Wyatt Teller (CLE) won the best-of-three series 2-1.
The NFC saw action from Jonathan Allen (WAS), Frank Ragnow (DET), Chris Lindstrom (ATL), Trent Williams (SF), Demarcus Lawrence (DAL), Dexter Lawrence (NYG), Daron Payne (WAS), Zack Martin (DAL), Elgton Jenkins (GB) and Tyler Biadasz (DAL).

6) Best Catch presented by Uber Eats (Final)
Amon-Ra St. Brown won the Best Catch competition at the Pro Bowl Games Skills Competition in Las Vegas.
The Detroit Lions wide receiver scored 177 out of a possible 200 points for his two attempts, edging out Stefon Diggs of the Buffalo Bills for second place in the finals.
St. Brown enlisted the help of his brother Equanimeous on the second catch. The older brother passed a passed ball in flight to Amon-Ra, who jumped over the mascot and caught the ball in flight.
St Brown received 93, 91 and 92 points for the second attempt from judges Snoop Dogg, LaDainian Tomlinson and Pete Davidson. Diggs totalled 144 points.
7) Flag Football – Final AFC vs NFC 33:35
The NFC entered the final trailing 15-21, equalised early with a touchdown from Amon-Ra St Brown to make it 21-21. NFC quarterback Kirk Cousins threw for three touchdowns to lead his team to victory over the AFC, which saw Derek Carr throw for two touchdowns.
In the NFC, Kyle Juszczyk stood out alongside Cousins, not only scoring a touchdown, but also shining with a 27-yard pass, a long run and other catches.
