Joe Mixon: acquittal as early as Friday?
Peter Schaffer, agent for the 26-year-old, however, expressed confidence that the charges would be dropped as early as Friday. The officials overreacted, he stressed to Tom Pelissero of “NFL Network. “
“They’re going to drop the charges right in the morning. I really feel like the police have a duty to do their job before they file charges – because of the damage that can be done to the person’s reputation,” Schaffer is further quoted as saying.
