Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Tom Brady doesn’t want to get used to losing

Tom Brady is suffering one defeat after another with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Unfamiliar territory for the quarterback superstar, one he doesn’t want to get too involved in

Munich/Tampa Bay – Tom Brady has it anything but easy right now. The divorce from wife Gisele Bündchen is giving the quarterback a hard time, and things aren’t going well in sports either.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have lost three games in a row recently, and “TB12” has already lost five times with the Bucs this season. For the playmaker who is used to success, this is completely unfamiliar terrain.

“You know what, I’m glad this situation is unfamiliar to me,” the 45-year-old explained on his “Let’s Go!” podcast. “I want it to be as unfamiliar as possible. Losing sucks and we put a lot into winning – like every team does. Nobody feels sorry for the Bucs. We know that and we have to change that,” the signal caller said.

He added: “We’ve faced adversity before. We all have. You encounter adversity in your professional life. You encounter adversity in other areas of your life. All of that builds resilience and you learn to deal with adversity and hopefully it makes you stronger. “

Brady hopes for turnaround against Rams

For the quarterback, only one thing matters in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Rams: “We’re going to go out and try to do the best we can. Who cares what happened the last eight weeks? Our record is what it is. We are not going to change it. We can’t change a game we’ve already played.”

Very much, however, the franchise can learn from what has happened in the past few weeks. “What we do now is in front of us. Hopefully, some players will get healthy. Hopefully we can play better football on Sunday. We have to fight harder, that’s what it takes in the NFL right now.”

With a record of 3-5, the Bucs are currently in second place in the NFC South and still have every chance of making the postseason. The Atlanta Falcons lead the division with a 4-4 record.
