Terrell Owens makes football comeback at 48

Terrell Owens’ career in the NFL was over ten years ago. But the legendary wide receiver is now making his comeback in the Fan Controlled Football League.

Munich – Terrell Owens returns to the football field at the age of 48.

The Hall-of-Famer will play in the Fan Controlled Football League, according to Reuters news agency. According to speculation, Owens will join former Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel on the FCF Zappers in Atlanta.

Owens is the third-best wide receiver of all time

Owens spent 15 seasons in the NFL and retired after the 2010 season with the third most receiving yards in league history. His total of 15,934 receiving yards was surpassed only by Jerry Rice and Larry Fitzgerald.

Owens was selected to the First Team All-Pro five times and was a six-time Pro Bowler. In 2018, he was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame. He was picked in the 3rd round by the San Francisco 49ers in the 1996 draft. He also played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals.
