After 17 years in the NFL, Matthew Stafford is no longer a loser – statistically speaking.

NFL highlights on Joyn

Thanks to a 42-26 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 10, the quarterback has finally achieved a 50 percent win record after 231 NFL games in his career. He has 115 wins, 115 losses, and one tie.

The 37-year-old quarterback ended his first twelve NFL years with the Detroit Lions with a record of 74 wins, 90 losses, and one tie.

Stafford already a Super Bowl champion

In his fifth season with the Los Angeles Rams, he now has 41 wins and 25 losses – meaning that for the first time in his career, he no longer has a negative win percentage.

The move to the Rams turned out to be a stroke of luck for Stafford anyway. In his very first season with the franchise in 2021, he won the Super Bowl.

This year, the Rams are clearly on course for the playoffs and Stafford for MVP. The QB currently has 2,427 passing yards (fourth place) and 25 touchdowns, a statistic that puts him at the top of the entire league. He is five TDs ahead of second-placed Jared Goff – the very quarterback who replaced Stafford in Detroit back then.
