Quarterback legend Tom Brady does not consider himself the best passer in NFL history. Instead, he raves about one of his biggest rivals.
Is Tom Brady the best passer in NFL history?
According to the quarterback legend himself, the answer is no!
Rather, the 48-year-old sees one of his biggest rivals ahead of himself.
Speaking to Pro Football Focus, Brady said that Aaron Rodgers was “the best passer the league has ever seen” in his prime.
And the GOAT also described why he sees Prime A-Rod at the top: “He could get the ball from point A to point B faster and more accurately than any other player in NFL history.”

Brady highlighted 2011 as a special period for Rodgers.
By almost every measure, the 41-year-old was at the peak of his powers at that time. He racked up 4,643 yards and 45 touchdowns as the Green Bay Packers’ playmaker, led the NFL in passer rating (122.5) and quarterback rating (83.8), and was named MVP and All-Pro for the first time.
The four-time MVP’s QB rating from 2011 remains a season record, and his 10.5 adjusted yards per attempt are second only to Sid Luckman (10.96 in 1943) and Nick Foles (10.54 in 2013).
The Packers had a 15-1 record that year, but then lost in the NFC Divisional Round to the eventual Super Bowl champions, the New York Giants.
